Summer Sounds: In Your Neighbourhood family picnic featuring Kylie Cooper + Lady Midnight

Free Heritage Walking Tours

Holi Tribe Festival

Lego Robotics and Coding Workshops

5th and 19th March

Delve deep into the world of LEGO® Mindstorms® and coding.  For children ready to try programming, this workshop uses pre-built LEGO® Mindstorms® EV3 robots and iPads to get the most out of the robot’s capabilities. Cultural Diversity Week

Cultural Diversity Week in Hobsons Bay is a week of fun and engaging cultural activities, programmed to encourage people to come together, share aspects of their culture, faith and language, and celebrate the cultural richness of our community. The program offers something for everyone from food tasting to cultural games; traditional craft lessons to film screenings. The activities are free and many are child friendly. A World of Tea

Colourfest Short Films Screening

Hobsons Bay City Council hosts Colourfest, a FREE mini multicultural film festival which celebrates the works of culturally diverse filmmakers in Australia. Insightful and inspiring, Colourfest’s short films showcase the success, challenges and stories of migrant communities in Australia and the world. Suitable for a family audience (rated PG), everyone is welcome and entry is FREE. Mesh Mash Guest Artist Workshop with Anuradha Patel

Explore the local bird species of Hobsons Bay, with Anuradha Patel. Anu works across mixed media including paper cut-outs and silhouettes, which will be perfect to transfer as printed designs for the Mesh Mash range.
