Step Back in Time with Williamstown Heritage Walking Tours - FREE event 

4th September to 30th November

Step Back in time and unlock the secrets of Williamstown with free guided heritage walking tours.  Meet at the Hobsons Bay Visitor Information Centre, Commonwealth reserve, Nelson Place, Williamstown.  Walks take place on Tuesdays and Fridays at 11.45 am.  For further information, call 9932 4310 or visit http://www.hobsonsbaytickets.com.au/

Truganina Explosives Reserve Open Day

Bring family and friends down to learn the history of the Explosives Reserve and see what's beyond the fence. Free entry, open from 1pm to 3pm, and located in Queen Street, Altona

No New Noise by the Australian Creative Music Ensemble 

Friday 6 October

Presented by The Substation and Melbourne Festival.No New Noise is the inaugural program by the Australian Creative Music Ensemble, a new contemporary collective focused on improvising and showcasing the next generation of creative musicians and composers. Three composers respond to this provocative inquiry with new works for a powerhouse eight piece improvising ensemble. Exploring questions of authenticity in an age of digital reproduction.
