Free Heritage Walking Tours

1st September to 28th November

ART IN PUBLIC PLACES

Art in Public Places is a month-long, multi venue celebration of art and ideas, in all their forms throughout September and right across Hobsons Bay. Sea Shepherd Melbourne's Stand Fast Festival 2017

Come and be a part of Sea Shepherd Melbourne's annual fundraiser this year: This year is going to be our BIGGEST one and not to be missed - the day will be a feast of music, vegan food, market stalls, raffles, a silent auction, competitions, kids rides and activities, ship tours of our flagship the Steve Irwin, educational talks, workshops and demonstrations and loads more. Presented by Melbourne Fringe, Forest Fringe and The Substation In 1956, there was a popular uprising against the USSR in Hungary. The battle was fought primarily from the Corvin Cinema, and let to one of the largest refugee crises of the twentieth century. In a performance spanning the length of the 1956 comedy that was scheduled to screen at the cinema that day, Deborah Pearson unlocks a surprisingly personal story.
